PSA Peugeot Citroen will increase localization in Russia

As part of work to increase the localization of the model line-up and development of future models PSMA Rus plant held a convention for suppliers of automotive components. At the meeting leaders of PSMA Rus presented a strategy of development of the plant and the priority directions of production localization.

PSA Peugeot Citroen Group adopted a strategy of its activity in Russia based on the local production. In the coming years the company plans to develop a diversified model line-up with a high level of localization. Localization at the level of 50% is the first milestone of the plan, in the future the company expects to reach the localization of 70%. In this context, PSA Peugeot Citroen is interested in long-term cooperation with Russian suppliers of automotive components.
