Russian Automotive Market Research

The company Sollers received approval on SPIC to establish the engine plant in Vladivostok. After the final approval and signing of all relevant documentation, the company will be able to begin the production preparation. The company plans to create production capacity of 50 thousand engines per year.

Currently Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus in Vladivostok assembles two models of the Japanese brand by SKD technology: Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6. The production localization is not planned at the moment. Thus, having postponed the full cycle production of cars, the company decided to launch the manufacture of Mazda engines, which, in addition to using on the Russian assembly line, may be imported to Japan and China.
